Today in News History: On Sept. 27, 1964, the Warren Commission, established by President Lyndon B. Johnson to investigate the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone when he shot and killed Kennedy in Dallas, Texas on Nov. 22, 1963.
